Waterfowl can be subject to many collective terms that have varied over time. Here are a few.
A Company of wigeon - a group of wigeon resting together
A Bunch of wigeon - a close knit group of wigeon
A Coil of wigeon - a group of wigeon apparently flying in a spiral formation
A Raft of wigeon - a term usually used for a group of wigeon floating on tidal water
A Fall of wigeon - a group of wigeon arriving to an area as part of their migration
A Herd of swans
A Gaggle of geese (originally only when grouped on water)
A Skein of geese - when on wing
A Paddling of ducks - typically mallard when on water
A Team of wild ducks - typically, but not exclusively mallard when on the wing
